Mount Rainier, WA – 7.8.12

This is a close up of one of the larger crevasses in the Nisqually Glacier. There’s definitely a reason you need to know safety and ropes training if you are making a push to the summit as you have to cross some of the glaciers closer to the peak which may have crevasses.
